Let’s Get Romantic! Maxi Dress Love!

Market Day!

There are so many ways to go shopping. Nope, I’m not talking about shopping clothes, I’m talking about shopping groceries and food. As I’m not a person who loves cooking that much, I don’t get excited shopping food in a supermarket.

Though luckily there’s a much better way to shop for food. Where am I talking about? Markets! Over the past years they’ve become more and more popular..

Small or big ones, markets which only sell organic food and groceries . There’s a big choice around.

Isemarkt - Established since “ever”

As mentioned in Hamburg you have a great choice of different markets. One of the oldest and biggest markets has been around since “ever”. To be exact since 1949. It first opened officially on August 28, 1949. It’s called Isemarkt and you find it in the “Isestrasse” in Eppendorf. It’s 12.000 sqm long and opens every Tuesday and Friday at 8.30 a.m. and closes at 2 p.m. in the afternoon ever since. You’ll find besides food, organic and non-organic, jewellery, flowers, decorative items. And in case you are hungry you can eat something right away or grap some coffee.

It’s spicy!

If you like to cook, you find an awesome great variety of herbs and spices as well. I just bought white pepper, but there is much greater choice.

Romantic Maxi Dress

Well, let’s now I’ve talked enough about the market and food. This maxi dress comes in light grey/blue. The ruffles at the bottom are giving the dress a romantic attitude. When you buy a maxi dress, have a close look if the length suits you.

Styling Tip

Sometime longer skirts or dresses make you look shorter no matter whether you are small or tall. Also don’t listen to the sales person, who might tell you that wearing high heels will make you look taller. If you like to wear flats to a maxi dress, the dress should look great without any shoes. I personally love to wear sandals or sneakers to make the dress look cooler.

Monochrome colors

My favorite styling for this dress is to create a monochrome look. My sneakers come in off-white and the cross-body bag is light grey, which matches the colors of the dress.

How I have styled another maxi dress you can see here.

Groceries, fruits and accessoires

When ever you are in Hamburg and you have some spare time on Tuesday or Friday, you should plan a visit. Let me know if you enjoyed it! Love to hear!
