Leather pants, tops or dresses. Cool and elegant at the same time. And, yes sure - leather also works at work!

The dress I’m wearing has a classy cut with pockets at the side. Actually I’ve that already some time.

At first I wasn’t sure whether I would or could wear it often enough, as I’m a economic consultant, sometimes surrounded by people dressed in classy business outfits.

Stick to one or two colors

To make a leather dress an outfit for work, I choose accessories, boots and bag in similar colors. As my dress is black, I’m sticking to the colors black and grey and chose silver accessories. Sounds boring? No, it’s also about what you choose. My boots have silver studs which automatically highlights the outfit, matching the black cross body bag with a black silver shoulder strap.

So any color your leather dress is made of - stick to similar colors, which makes you look professional and cool at the same time. This works for brown, camel, blue etc. Give it a try.

It’s cold outside babe!

As it’s cold outside, I definitely need a cosy, big scarf. A black one works best with this dress, but also grey would be an option if you’d choose to wear a black coat. As today I’m wearing a grey coat, a black scarf works well. Shades of colors always make an outfit interesting.

My coat has almost the same length as the dress. If you’d wear a maxi dress, your coat could be also shorter than the dress. Also nice!

Wear special accessories, which highlights your monochrome look

When you wear a monochrome outfit, accessories are your best companion. They’re highlighting whatever you want to highlight and make the outfit special.

My french beret is turning the entire look into a new direction - “Vive la France”. If you’ve been to Paris, you might have noticed the clean and cool French styling.
